People Living with HIV Peer Support

Dhammayietra Mongkol Borei provides home-based care to people dying at home from chronic disease in Mongkol Borei province in NW Cambodia. They provide educational, medical, psychological and spiritual support to patients and family members, while developing community groups to help communities cope with problems arising from chronic disease, especially HIV/AIDS. The Broadley Trust supported a peer program whereby a small group of people living with HIV (PLHIV) support the needs of some 900 PLHIV to continue treatment and live healthy lives.
