Zero Adelaide Homelessness

February 2017 – June 2017, January 2018 – December 2018

The project harnesses the resources of state and federal governments, the community services sector, housing, real estate and developer industries and university researchers to jointly commit to achieving functional zero homelessness in the CBD of Adelaide. Functional zero is reached when the number of people who are homeless in a city in any given month is not greater than the monthly housing placement rate for that month.  The Broadley Trust funded the activities necessary to kick start this project and followed this with support for the establishment of an online accountability and monitoring system.
